「源氏後集余情」は、江戸時代後期に歌川国貞（三代豊国）によって描かれた浮世絵シリーズです。『源氏物語』を題材とした柳亭種彦の長編読本『偐紫田舎源氏（にせむらさきいなかげんじ）』の挿絵を原案としています。

この作品は、『源氏物語』五十四帖をもじって「後集余情（ごじゅうよじょう）」と読ませる洒落が込められており、華やかな登場人物たちの奢侈な生活や風俗が、当時の江戸の出版文化や広告とも結びつき、大衆に人気を博しました。天保の改革による出版統制で『偐紫田舎源氏』が絶版になった後も、その影響は浮世絵の世界に及び、「源氏絵」として多くの作品が制作されました。

"Genji Kōshū Yojō" (源氏後集余情) is a series of ukiyo-e prints created by Utagawa Kunisada (later known as Utagawa Toyokuni III) during the late Edo period. It was originally based on the illustrations for Ryūtei Tanehiko's lengthy historical novel, "Nise Murasaki Inaka Genji" (偐紫田舎源氏), which itself was a parody of The Tale of Genji.

The title "Kōshū Yojō" (後集余情) is a playful pun on the original "54 chapters" (五十四帖) of The Tale of Genji. The series depicted the lavish lifestyles and customs of its characters, becoming widely popular among the common people due to its connection with Edo's vibrant publishing culture and advertising. Even after Nise Murasaki Inaka Genji was banned due to the Tenpō Reforms and their strict publishing regulations, its influence persisted in the world of ukiyo-e, leading to the creation of numerous "Genji-e" (源氏絵) works.
