Matsuno Shirabe (The Melody of Pines) is a picture book published in 1795 by Tsutaya Jūzaburō, a prominent publisher during the Edo period. The illustrations were created by Katsukawa Shunshō. This work is a remake of ukiyo-e prints in the koband (small print) format, originally published around 1774-1775. The faces of the figures were redrawn to align with the popular tastes of the time.
